Feldberg or Bust

It all starts here!

We had an amazing weekend! It all started with Friday when we found a house. The pictures will come when we move in. Then Saturday we went snowboarding in Feldberg. That was interesting! The drive is supposed to take 2.5 hours, but our fancy GPS had us take side roads. Let's just say it took a little longer than 2.5 hours, how about 9 hours of driving for 4 hours of riding. The snow was great, the runs were short, and the lifts.....well Andrea is now an expert at riding T-bars. ;) Check out the moving lift line(video at the bottom), and they say Americans are lazy. Once we made it home we had a nice sleep. Then Sunday rolled around and we went to a new church, Front Line Community. It is the nicest church we have seen so far and we think we will end up there after we check out a few more. Then I was scheduled to take a Mid-Term, but I decided to ignore the due date on the test, 3-6-10 at 12:00am. First off, who schedules a test to end in the middle of the day? Second why not utilize the entire week...That includes Sunday teach...needless to say I took the test after pleading with the nice teacher and will have the grade back in a few days. That was it for the weekend. Enjoy the pics of Germany.

The first whiteout in a while, can you see the Chateau just 100' away?

Eat Drink and be Merry, Ein Maas, does not mean one more, it meens one Mars bar!

  1. 9 HRS of driving?!?!? That's insane!

Looks like the Germans are either "smarter" with the moving lift-line or "lazier"...
