Cyprus

July 1st - 5th: We ended up heading to Cyprus after purchasing a "Joker" fare with Condor airlines and were not disappointed. For all of you who are wondering, Cyprus (a former British colony) is located south of Greece. The northern part of the island is Turkish while the southern half is Greek. We stayed on the Greek/East side of the island in Protaras. The first day we headed to the West coast-enjoyed driving on the left hand side of the road- and visited the Baths of Aphrodite, the Baths of Adonis, the Tombs of the Kings, and the "birthplace" of Aphrodite. The next 3 days we relaxed at the beach and pool. We also got to go parasailing which was awesome. Our last day we visited the church of Lazarus. We had a very relaxing vacation and enjoyed all of the sights!

Our hotel, it was awesome!
