August 7-8: We headed to Lake Lucerne, Switzerland for the weekend and even took Toby along with us for his first European adventure. After a longer drive than expected, we arrived in Lake Lucerne and experienced the beautiful scenery. Sunday we were going to go hiking but it was raining the gondola was going to be $100+ for a 10 minute ride (outrageous!). We took our time getting back to Germany and experienced the Swiss countryside. It was a quick but fun-filled weekend!
