First Days in Germany #1

After landing in Germany, we headed to our temporary lodging for the month, Trudy's Apartments in Mackenbach. For dinner we had a frozen pizza, real German we know, but that's what we could scrounge up. Wednesday, our first full day in Germany, consisted of many in-processing appointments for Andrea. We have been blessed by having a great sponsor who drives us everywhere and has shown us around the area. After the day of fun we headed for Landstuhl where we met some of Andrea's co-workers for dinner at the Cockpit Lounge. Brady had his first taste of German food, Jägerschnitzel! Thursday we had some more appointments then took Toby for a walk in Mackenbach where we stopped at our first German bakery and experienced some yummy pastries. We are very excited to be here and look forward to the next 3 years in Germany!
